The Office serves Floridians through its responsibilities for regulation, compliance and enforcement of statutes related to the business of insurance. The Office is also entrusted with the duty of carefully monitoring statewide industry markets.

• Insurance Company Search The Office of Insurance Regulation company search service can provide full names, business addresses, and identifying information for companies/entities doing business in the State of Florida.

• Verify Before You Buy Before you sign a contract or write a check, verify the entity is authorized and licensed to transact business in Florida or with Florida residents

• Agent & Agency Licensee Search Names and business addresses of licensees with at least one active license in the state of Florida.

• Complaint Comparison See the number of closed consumer complaints logged for each insurance company during the last twelve months
• Rate Regulated CarriersInstate policies are policies that are filed and approved with the Florida Department of Financial Services, Office of Insurance Regulation. They must meet certain minimum standards regarding benefits offered. Their rates must also be approved by the Office of Insurance Regulation.
