Company & Small Business
It has been reported that over 60% of the U.S. population that has health insurance receives their health care coverage through an employer-sponsored group health insurance plan. Although the health insurance regulations may vary considerably from state to state, there are definite advantages to obtaining your health insurance coverage through an employer using large or small business health insurance plans. In fact, many employees will report that the most important benefit offered to them through their job is health insurance.
Group Health Plans
Predictable Cost Plans
Predictable Cost Plans offer tried-and-trusted coverage with predictable copayments for the most commonly used services. They are perfect for your employees who want to know their costs upfront so they can make informed health care decisions.
HSA - Compatible Plans
Looking for a less taxing route? Try one of our high-deductible health plans that are compatible with tax-deductible Health Savings Accounts (HSA). HSA-Compatible plans allow your employees to use tax-free contributions (from you, them or both), to help cover out-of-pocket health care expenses, including qualified deductibles, and coinsurance. These plans offer lower premiums because of the higher deductibles that are covered by HSA contributions. HSA accounts are portable, so employees can take it with them if they change jobs.
- Higher deductibles - range from $1,250 to $5,000 per individual and $2,500 to $10,000 per family - designed for HSA saving benefits
- Choice of 0% to 20% coinsurance after calendar year deductible is satisfied
- Pharmacy program choice of (1) a deductible that applies toward the health plan deductible and out-of-pocket max with copayments or coinsurance for prescriptions or, (2) a discount program for virtually all prescription drugs
HSAs offer three ways to save: tax deductions on contributions; tax-free interest and investment gains; and tax-free withdrawals for qualified medical expenses. It's a smart way to save on health insurance costs.
Lower Cost Plans
Lower Cost Plans are lower cost, but not lower value. These plans offer comprehensive medical coverage with premiums lower than conventional plans, made possible with higher out-of-pocket limits and cost-sharing features.
- 20% to 50% coinsurance on covered services after deductible is satisfied
- Lower copayments for in-network Family Physician office visits
- Plans with Hospital and Surgical Coverage
Limited Benefit Plans with Hospital and Surgical Coverage cover major illnesses and emergencies requiring hospitalization or surgery. They're perfect for healthy individuals who don't visit the doctor often or take many prescription drugs, but want benefits for the unexpected hospital stay and physician services for covered hospital admissions. Well-child care physician visits and adult preventive screenings are included, as well as, diagnostic services related to surgery (X-rays, ultrasounds and CAT scans). HSA-Compatible plans are also available under this type of plan.
